Papier is a series made with found wallpaper samples and delicately cut watercolor painted paper butterflies. I spent much of my life living amongst tropical foliage and I love to surround myself with a botanical aesthetic I rarely see in my day to day life. With this series, I want to create affordable and sustainable art that might otherwise become trash. This piece is made with Astek’s Bali Hai: Jujube and is one of a kind.
