new series: papier

These days, I paint a lot of my own papers for specific projects, but I like to incorporate found papers into my art. I’ve cut up books, paper bags, magazines and more. Recently, a friend gifted me with wallpaper samples from a large commercial project, knowing my passion for recycling, sustainability and beautiful design. In the papier series, I compliment these wallpaper samples with my hand painted butterflies, creating affordable, sustainable and elegant works of art.
